Sony has confirmed that its two untitled Spider-Man sequels will hit theatres later than expected due to Covid-19.

The Spider-Man: Far From Home sequel has been moved from July 16, 2021, to November 5, 2021. Sony's animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel will be delayed by six months from April 8, 2022, to October 7, 2022.

Both films are predicted to be big box office successes. Into the Spider-Verse took more than $375 million worldwide in theaters and scooped an Oscar in February for Best Animated Feature Film, and Spider-Man: Far From Home earned a staggering $1.132 billion.

That said, Tom Holland isn't letting delays get him down as he's hosting a Marvel-themed charity pub quiz this week. Mark your diary for Wednesday at 8 p.m. BST, and head over to @tomholland2013's Instagram Live. Here, fans can put their MCU knowledge to the test. It's all for a good cause, with any money raised going to his family’s Brothers Trust charity.

“The reason why we’re doing the pub quiz is just to galvanize people and to give people a sense of community and to kind of bring people together and just have a laugh and have a good time” Holland explained.

Watch him announce the details of the quiz on Jimmy Kimmel Live below
