Double Tap to Zoom

‘Tis the season to make memories with family and friends. But instead of trying to wrangle everybody in for a group photo, set up the camera on a self-timer, or awkwardly decide who will be the one to take it, try staying in the moment instead – while still authentically documenting it.

Serving up the latest in wearable tech, Ray-Ban Stories smart glasses make capturing, sharing and listening fit for the modern day. These hands-free specs showcase instant image and video capture, built-in audio and Bluetooth capabilities, and voice command features, meaning you can stay on the go and stay in the moment.

So whether you need to wrap gifts while taking a call or bake a pie and record the entire process to post on social media, Ray-Ban Stories have you covered for the holidays.

To help explain the importance of staying present during the most wonderful time of the year, we tapped stylist Beverly Nguyen, founder of Beverly’s NYC.

Understanding that some of her favorite holiday traditions revolve around shared connection with loved ones, Nguyen notes, “People remember the holidays based on the joy or emotion they felt in the moment and Ray-Ban Stories allow me to do that without working too hard to capture it.”

Read more on how Nguyen uses Ray-Ban Stories to stay authentic during the holiday season below:

What are your favorite holiday traditions?

Cooking, dressing up, and celebrating life. These traditions have evolved into people outside of my family and those who want to have a community. I feel very lucky to have these.

What does living in the moment mean to you?

Putting down your phone, making eye contact, and listening. Even if that means the meal you’re preparing is going to overcook.

How do Ray-Ban Stories let you simultaneously live in and capture the moment during the holidays?

I love that Ray-Ban Stories help capture the moment without me having to stop what I’m doing and think about taking a photo. They help me see things from a wider lens and collect memories I’m not even aware of at that moment.

How have Ray-Ban Stories eased your daily activities?

They keep me hands-free to do other things! I can be cooking, or hanging out with my friends without having to fumble around for my phone or camera.

Who in your life would you give a pair of Ray-Ban Stories to and why?

My mother. She loves to collect memories and document every single moment with my family. With Ray-Ban Stories she could take photos and videos without overcomplicating the process.

How does being in the moment help create better holiday memories?

People remember the holidays based on the joy or emotion they felt in the moment and Ray-Ban Stories allow me to do that without working too hard to capture it.
