Stone Island
1 / 7

It is October, which means that we can no longer hold onto summer because fall is officially here. As the temperature drastically drops, we're always on the lookout for the best outerwear to add to our rotation, and Stone Island has just released a new collection of its Ghost pieces.

Stone Island already has a huge fanbase due to its innovative materials and technologically advanced garments, as well as its signature logo badge and status, and with the Ghost pieces, it merges both timeless designs with functionality. The Ghost collection takes it all into consideration and features the label's recognizable design cues using a fully monochromatic approach, with garments arriving in a dark brown or black colorway.

Derived from the concept of camouflage, the collection is perfect for the minimalist. Pieces range from jackets, fleece wear, knitwear, trousers, and T-shirts, and uses nylon moleskin and cotton on the inside for the lighter garments, whereas the outerwear is made in a three-layered Stretch Wool material.

The Ghost range is perfect for both Stone Island enthusiasts, as well as those looking to add staple pieces to their seasonal rotations. Personally, I've never purchased any techwear or outdoor gear from any label, but this collection might change that due to its simple, yet functional designs that will undoubtedly be a success.

The Stone Island Ghost pieces are available in brown and black colorways on the Stone Island app until October 4, with the full collection available to view online. If you've missed it, Stone Island have also launched its anticipated collaboration with New Balance – a design that had the Highsnobiety staff divided.
