What We’re Saying: On the heels of announcing a long-term partnership, Hender Scheme and The North Face today unveiled their second collection. The Spring/Summer 2021 assortment highlights the identities of both brands through a capsule filled with functional styles that can be worn on a daily basis.

Leading the new collection from Hender Scheme and The North Face is the HS Climbing Diversity, an outdoor footwear design that brings climbing technology to Hender Scheme's classic Tyrolean shoes. The Climbing Diversity blends nylon jersey and cow leather across the upper, while a Vibram 2146 clean trek sole unit is implemented below for enhanced durability and grip. The standout element of the shoe, however, is the inner bootie made from a combination of polyester knit, microsuede, and cow leather. The inner shoe can be fully removed and worn on its own.

The second footwear offering from Hender Scheme and The North Face's SS21 collection is the HS Ultra Stratum Pro. The sandal comes optioned in two colorways — similar to the Climbing Diversity — and pairs a FASTFORM footbed with a cow leather upper. The sole unit below incorporates an EVA compression molded midsole, TPU CRADLE technology shank and plate, and a Vibram MEGAGRIP outsole to ensure both comfort and durability.

Releasing alongside the HS Climbing Diversity and HS Ultra Stratum Pro is an array of backpacks and travel kits, which are also designed for everyday use. You can get a look at each piece from the collection by swiping through the lookbook above. The shoes are detailed in the gallery above.
