Last week, Travis Scott released his long-awaited third album, Astroworld. With all eyes and ears on the Houston rapper, the creators at Bandstand have broken down every sample on the new record.

Across the 17-track LP, select songs pay homage to some of hip-hop's finest, including one legend from the artist's home state. On "R.I.P. Screw," La Flame samples an 1998 radio interview from DJ Screw. The Texan figure is largely credited as creating the 'chopped and screwed' method.

Elsewhere, Scott makes sure to throw in Notorious B.I.G's "Gimme the Loot" on "Sicko Mode" as well as taking a drumline from Beastie Boys' "The New Style" on "Carousel."
