After weeks of rumors, Travis Scott's Fortnite concert has been confirmed. According to the Fortnite team, the "Astronomical" experience will see Scott deliver the world premiere of a brand new track.

Scott is the latest celeb to join Fortnite's Icon Series; in addition to the track debut mentioned above, a number Outfits and Emotes will be available to players from April 23. There will be "Astronomical events," which — should you attend — will help you to score the Astroworld Cyclone Glider and two free loading screens.

Doors open 30 minutes before the show and early sign-up is hugely recommended — the schedule is as follows.

4/23 - The Americas - 7PM EDT 4/24 - EU & ME - 10AM EDT 4/25 - Asia & Oceania - 12AM EDT 4/25 - EU & ME - 11AM EDT 4/25 - The Americas - 6PM EDT

The official announcement follows weeks of rumors regarding Scott's involvement in the game. Find our previous post below.

Original post: New data-mined files suggest the Houston rapper will appear at an in-game concert, currently codenamed “Jerky.” He is already linked to a cosmetic set and potential skin. Gamers also recently discovered some posters hinting at an upcoming music event, which have appeared on the Battle Royale island.

The new series of posters on the Fortnite island features a music symbol on a dark background. It's unclear what these posters hint at, but hackers claim that decrypted posters reveal Epic Games is planning a Travis Scott concert that will see "Astroworld" located high in the sky.

Players have also noticed something tiny and purple glowing in the game’s sky, which leakers claim is an Astroworld bubble that is slowly descending to the island.

One of the most promising clues arrives in a newly decrypted audio and texture file where you can hear Scott's track "Highest in the Room" playing.

Earlier this year, leaks already suggested that Scott would make an appearance in Fortnite season two.

Now it appears the rumors might be true and an in-game concert could be imminent. Keep it here for updates.
