Vans has designed arguably its most minimalist Slip-On yet.

Mind you, the laceless classic was already rather simple. The skateboarding brand pared it down even further and upgraded the materials. And thus, it created the new OTW Slip-On Shadow Vibram.

One of the biggest changes happens on the upper. The Slip-On Shadow doesn't feature the two elastic side panels like the OGs. Instead, Vans reduced the signature detail to one large stretchy panel in the middle.

Oh, and as the name implies, these pairs feature Vibram sole units, which provide more durable traction and grip across different surfaces. And given it comes from the brand's high-end OTW line, we can expect more top-notch touches throughout this remixed skate sneaker.

Vans' Slip-On Shadow sneaker comes in two color options: black suede and the iconic Checkerboard print. They're both set to drop soon on Naked's website for $120.

We've seen Harris Tweed Slip-Ons and even chocolate-leather versions. But a refined Vibram-soled rendition is a new one. And it's pretty cool.

It's currently unknown when they'll land on Vans' website. But let's hope these minimalist skate shoes emerge from the shadows soon.
