Tyler, the Creator has signed a first-look deal with Sony Pictures Television that will lead to him developing a number of projects for the small screen, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Alongside his Bald Face Productions partner Lionel Boyce, the pair will be working on TV and digital properties, both scripted and unscripted.

Talking about the project, Boyce described Sony Pictures Television as a hub of great content, and that "we're excited to be a part of a place where we will have the resources to develop new ideas.” While Tyler simply offered, “Tacos are great with bar-b-que sauce, I’m excited," which could be a clue towards potential content, or it could just be one of his typically off-kilter statements.

Sony Pictures Television's president Jeff Frost said in a statement that the deal is a "dream come true," describing the Tyler-Boyce duo as "creative genius." Frost also stated, "Tyler’s unconventional ingenuity is unparalleled, and we are excited about the prospect of what we can create together.”
