Unbanned: The Legend of AJ1 is launching digitally on May 14, and in the lead up, Jordan Brand has partnered with the documentary to announce the "Unbanned Unboxed" campaign, a week-long sweepstakes offering 23 rare Jumpman-related prizes.

Starting 2PM PST on May 6th and ending at midnight PST on May 13th, sweepstake entries can be made at UnbannedUnboxed.com. Each $23 entry comes with a redeemable movie download (for when the film is available May 14th) and a chance to win one of 23 sneaker prizes, including a rare pair of OG 1985 AJ1s valued at over $15K, a collection of 5 rare AJ1’s and 21 limited AJ1’s, along with other hard-to-find items.

Additionally, the documentary has partnered with Wings – a Jordan Brand-affiliated charity – to donate a portion of every ticket sold to local organizations in communities around the country that are focused on empowering underserved youth through the power of education and mentorship.

After being available for US-based Hulu subscribers, the documentary will now be globally available for digital download, featuring testimony from the likes of Michael Jordan himself, Quincy Jones, Spike Lee, Lena Waithe, Carmelo Anthony, Chuck D, Glenda “Gizzle” Proby, Michael B. Jordan, Jason Sudekis, Russel Westbrook, and Phil Knight among many others. The film breaks down how the basketball silhouette forever altered the sports and footwear industries, transcending its origins on the court to become a cultural icon.
