Lost & found boxes around the world are brimming with coats and bags left behind and never collected. They’re easily the most forgotten items. Why not make them one and the same? That way there’s one fewer thing to remember when you’re leaving, right? Or maybe you’ll just lose them both at the same time. Either way, Undercover x Eastpak has gifted the world with the best coat-bag hybrids we’ve seen yet.

Eastpak’s no-nonsense backpacks have long been fixtures of daily life. The two-pocket build is so simple that it’s instantly recognizable and now iconic. For the perpetually adventurous Undercover design team, the Eastpak backpack was a gift to be experimented on. The outcome? A range of coats and jackets — from coach jackets to bombers and Macs — that are engineered to be oversized, strapless, wearable Eastpak bags.

Complete with handles sewn just under the collar, no detail has been spared for Undercover x Eastpak. Each piece is defined by a big zip pocket to the reverse, embellished with the Eastpak label. The pieces are even cut from the same nylon as Eastpak packs…

After the outstanding Evangelion collaboration from Fall/Winter 21, where Undercover brought the anime world to real life through high-tech outerwear, the bar was set extremely high for future collaborations. This collaboration continues the roll of playful, perfectly executed team-ups. We’re hoping that copping the Undercover x Eastpak coat-bag hybrid brings an end to a lifetime of lost coats and bags.
