Every year we refresh our wardrobes in line with the seasons, but actually, the items on the shopping list remain very similar. Fleeces, for example, are in our rotation all year, every year.

Usually we opt for a classic Patagonia fleece, but recent seasons have seen new life breathed into the humble fleece. Luxury iterations have meant that style is now of equal importance as substance in the world of fleeces.

But with luxury comes a bigger price tag, and you can drop a serious chunk on a fleece these days. You can imagine our surprise, then, when we realized that Urban Outfitters had quietly released some of the best fleeces of the season. Defined by bold graphics, the fleeces rival those offered up by streetwear and luxury’s finest.

While you won't be getting any Polartec weaving or super-soft will fleece for this price, the Urban Outfitters Fleece Jackets are plush enough to be one of the comfiest pieces in your seasonal wardrobe.
