adidas recently unveiled its "Our Icons Go Vegan" range, re-releasing some of its most successful and celebrated silhouettes in updated versions that are 100 percent free of any animal product. First up in the new line are the Samba and Continental 80.

Both shoes retain everything that makes them classic when it comes to appearance, but are this time built using a PU-coated recycled synthetic material. The Continental 80 also makes use of algae-based EVA foam, which adidas says cleans a minimum of 30 liters of polluted lake water during production, adding to the sneaker's conscious credentials.

Both of the vegan sneakers are priced at $80, around the same mark as the OG versions.
