New York Fashion Week 2018 has officially begun and VFILES kicked it off with its SS19 fashion show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, highlighted with the debut of VFILES Yellow Label by Paul Cupo and closed by hip-hop OG Lil Kim – who wore a custom 'fit.

The presentation also highlighted emerging design talent with SS19 collections by runway winners Elena Velez, MARRKNULL, Shuting Qiu, and WINDOWSEN. With the showcase also coordinated in conjunction with Sprite, the affair brought together industry VIPs from both the fashion and music world, to continue Sprite's 30-year legacy of working with rappers, artists, and influencers by pushing the boundaries of hip-hop through music and self-expression.

Aside from Lil Kim, other artists such as Lil Durk, Asian Doll, Amanda Lepore, Bazzi, Saweetie, Lil Gnar, Jazz Cartier, PnB Rock and many more were the notable celebrity attendees.

Peep highlights from the eccentric collections above, which revolved on futuristic, cyberpunk vibes, along with a dystopian sci-fi, deconstructed twist. Additionally, enjoy our favorite street style looks from those that attended the presentation, which carried on the same aesthetic themes in a variety of bold fits.
