FILA has been killing it of late with a sick lineup of chunky sneakers and a recent history of on-point collaborations kicked off by a partnership with Gosha Rubchinskiy in late 2016. Now, the unassuming king and/or queen of affordable contemporary style, Weekday, has hooked up with the iconic sportswear label to add its personal touch to FILA’s classic sporting aesthetic.

Weekday, who’s already dropped a haymaker of a collection with Champion this year, has included sportswear-inspired pieces in its collections for some time now. For its “Strength in Unity” collaboration with FILA, the brand takes things to the next level with a heavy focus on performance materials, functional cuts, and classic activewear features.

The collection is optimized for wind resistance, water repellency, breathability, stretch and support, and to be quick drying. All windbreakers and joggers are wind resistant and water repellent as well as breathable thanks to quick-dry 4-way knit; while all leggings offer stretch and quick dry comfort. Additional performance-focused features include draw cord pullers, zippers, and reflective bands.

However, Weekday combines its signature fashion-forward design style with FILA’s ever-relevant heritage look for a collection that’s every bit as useful in the gym as it is a contemporary wardrobe.

Weekday puts a minimalist spin on FILA’s sportswear while using a core color palette of pure white, light grey, light pink, and deep blue. The result is a collection that’s equally suited to head-to-toe sportswear looks as it is your favorite street-worthy ‘fits of the moment.

The collection is available exclusively at Weekday stores April 18 and weekday.com April 19.
