Editor’s Notes: Wood Wood and Vans have teamed up for a special addition to the former’s Fan Club capsule collection: a Vans OG Era LX. The sneaker is inspired by the DIY fan culture that has been gripping sneakerheads recently and features a slightly thicker sole and DIY-style printing along the outsole.

The “VANS FANS” lettering on the outsole is printed lopsided to highlight the imperfections of DIY fan culture.

In addition to the sneakers, the Wood Wood Fan Club capsule is comprised of T-shirts, a raincoat, sweatshirts, a bag, and cap. According to Wood Wood, the collection is a “celebration of fan culture and teenage obsession.”
