As New York Fashion Week draws to a close, Kanye West took to the Big Apple to unveil the Spring/Summer 2016 installment of his Yeezy.Supply project. While it has since emerged that adidas would no longer be producing the collection, that didn’t stop a vast line of industry insiders and hopeful Yeezy fans gathering outside the show – whose attendees included Drake, Anna Wintour, Pusha T and Kim Kardashian West.

The Yeezy.Supply aesthetic remains largely unchanged. A troupe of models marched down the presentation space in distressed garments which sported a palette similar to YEEZY Season 1 – think lots of muted, earthy hues. Menswear silhouettes were greatly exaggerated and oversized, hems were left raw and unfinished, and looks were heavily layered to further the disheveled, post-apocalyptic aesthetic – which will no doubt make its way into the rest of the streetwear landscape if Yeezy’s vast fashion influence is anything to go by. Footwear-wise, we saw new colorways of the Yeezy 750 Boost sneaker and 950 duck boot alongside high-heeled women’s shoes.

Stay tuned for further information as it’s made available, and in the meantime check out the official invites for the YEEZY Season 2 presentation.
