Virgil Abloh has commissioned Australian Brooklyn-based artist Ian Strange to create a sculptural installation that will be the centerpiece at OFF-WHITE’s first Australian store in Melbourne.

Strange, whose work investigates space, architecture and the home alongside broader themes of disenfranchisement within the built environment, created the installation to reimagine what a store could look like.

The installation, entitled ‘Nothing is Finished’, re-assembles sections of a demolished house and is part of an ongoing collaboration between Strange and Abloh, where the work is never finished, only marked with collaborative output as the dialogue between the two artists evolves.

Check out detailed shots of the installation above and then watch Abloh’s full Harvard lecture here.
