Controversial rapper 6ix9ine's legal troubles are far from over. A report obtained by Pitchfork details that the Manhattan District Attorney's office has recommended a 1-3 year prison sentence for the rapper, alias Daniel Hernandez, in addition to registration as a sex offender.

This sentencing recommendation stems from Hernandez' 2015 case where he pleaded guilty to the use of a child in a sexual performance for one of his music videos. The plea agreement for that case included a provision that he would not commit another crime for a period of two years. This year alone, Hernandez was arrested for attacking a minor, assaulting a police officer, and driving with a suspended license.

As of press time, 6ix9ine has yet to make an official statement regarding this information.

In other news, the final suspect in the murder of XXXTentacion has been arrested. Get the scoop on that here.
