Netflix Just Dropped the Trailer for Apocalyptic Anime Series '7 Seeds'

Netflix just dropped the official trailer for its new post-apocalyptic animation series, 7Seeds. Watch above.

The narrative follows a character named Natsu who awakens from a cryogenically-induced slumber to discover that a giant meteorite collided with earth while she slept and wiped out most of the planet.

The government, who knew in advance that this was going to happen, froze Natsu along with a number of others in a project known as "7SEEDS," an initiative with the goal of preserving mankind.

7Seeds is directed by Yukio Takahashi and based on Yumi Tamura's award-winning adventure manga of the same name. The TV adaptation will arrive on Netflix June 28.
