Following an interview with ScHoolboy Q, Montreality has in turn sat down with yet another TDE member, Ab-Soul. During their time together, Soul dished on another one of his crew member's, Kendrick and DAMN., as well as Black Hippy, his upcoming album, the power of women, and more.
"You gotta know me and Kendrick are like Ken and Ryu, and I'm Ken, I'm the prototype in a lotta ways," Ab-Soul said. "Kendrick Lamar is the good kid, with this album he was tryna get back to K.Dot, get back to his roots, sag his pants, roll through the hood."
In transitioning to a subject that seemingly everyone asks about when they get around the TDE camp, Soul dove into Black Hippy, saying "Black Hippy is just a name, it's a name for our fusion. We all have our own personal goals that we have to reach, there's still a lot of ground that I wanna cover personally. I still got a lot of ground to cover before I can think about putting together a group album. I could probably speak for them when I say that as well."
Furthermore, the 30-year-old spitter only detailed a tiny bit surrounding his new album.
"When I feel like I can properly tell the story of the rich and famous (from my perspective), that's when you'll get Longterm 3," he insisted.
