adidas Originals continues its partnership with the GORE-TEX brand on into FW19, this week debuting the PT3 LASCU collection featuring Shark Fin jackets and pants. The breathable, waterproof GORE-TEX parka and jacket, as well as the windproof GORE TEX INFINIUM pants will be available globally in just a matter of days.

FW19 accounts for the third season adidas and GORE-TEX have collaborated on a PT3 collection. PT3 revolves around three components: adidas Originals’ design philosophy of “the past empowers the future,” open source collaboration with Canadian apparel designer Conroy Nachtigall (formerly of Arc'teryx Veilance), and GORE-TEX products paired with adidas' in-house trims and fabrics.

The key design element of the latest PT3 LASCU goods is the shark fin. The shark fin offers a pocket solution that stores the garment's insulation layer, as the LASCU GORE-TEX products remain as one piece.

“At the start of the LASCU project we analyzed data about core body temperature but then the challenge moved quickly to how to interpret that data and strategizing how it could be implemented. Warmth, movement, comfort, and change in constant balance, not letting one phase dictate or override, and without losing focus on keeping the full waterproof integrity of GORE-TEX but then also letting the process reveal something new,” says Nachtigall.

adidas Originals continues to offer GORE-TEX jackets with KARKAJ technology, in addition to the new LASCU collection. These outerwear styles are lightweight and packable, guaranteed to keep you dry no matter the weather. KARKAJ allows you to convert the garments into a carry-able accessory.

You'll be able to purchase adidas Originals and GORE-TEX's FW19 PT3 LASCU parka, jacket, and pants beginning September 1.
