Kanye West was spotted in Los Angeles yesterday wearing what appears to be an updated version of the adidas Originals YEEZY Boost 350. Rumors suggest this could be the model’s third iteration. While the largely Primeknit upper and rubber-encased Boost midsole on the shoes worn by West are similar enough to the V1 and V2 YEEZY Boost 350, there are enough differences to suggest this could be the V3.

The pattern on the upper is slightly different from those seen previously on the V1 and V2. It appears a more symmetrical approach has been taken, which is evident when looking at the sneaker top-down (on the rapper’s left foot). In addition, it also looks like the ankle collar has been modified slightly, giving it a tighter, less exaggerated shape compared with the V1 and V2.

Finally, the rubber midsole looks to rise higher around the heel than previous versions, almost mimicking the design of the YEEZY Basketball sneaker West has previously worn and teased.

Of course, this is all speculation, although West does have a history of wearing new silhouettes ahead of release to generate buzz. Stay tuned for further information as it arrives.
