Daniel adidas Ultra Boost 19

Just when you thought the Ultraboost couldn’t get any better, adidas Running is coming through with an all-new version that’s reimagining the sport: the Ultraboost 19.

Whether you’re a runner or just like wearing running shoes, the Ultraboost 19 could become your new go-to sneakers. The team at adidas worked with thousands of runners across the globe to perfect the shoe, and the results are pretty noteworthy. On the performance front, 20% more Boost has been added to the midsole, which optimizes energy return and responsiveness – more than even before for the Ultraboost. The 3D Heel Frame wraps the foot providing enhanced support while the Primeknit 360 upper provides additional lightweight support. So on the field or pounding the city pavement, you’re doing your feet a solid.

Technical specs aside, the shoe’s been a popular choice among the likes of Lionel Messi, Chadwick Boseman, and Kendall Jenner, to name a few, and it’s easy to see why: the streamlined silhouette works with a variety of fits.

To get up close and personal with the adidas Ultraboost 19, the team at Highsnobiety’s New York HQ got their feet in a pair. Check out how some of our staffers styled them and what they had to say. And be sure to peep the full range of colorways here when the adidas Ultraboost 19 drops on February 21st.

I love the ease and comfort of trousers with sneakers. It’s great to mix casual and formal. I like the way the Ultraboost 19 creates a nice silhouette at the bottom of the pant. The mix of materials and textures creates interesting dimension to the fit. Add a turtleneck to the mix and you have complete coziness.

I like mixing formal pieces with casual ones: a double-breasted blazer with torn, vintage jeans. A luxe leather bag with kicks.

The hits of laser red throughout the Primeknit uppers and translucent 3D heel make the Ultraboost 19 a true showstopper, and its extra-thick Boost midsole guarantees you’ll be gliding comfortably through any fashion week. And since we’re still celebrating the Lunar New Year, I paired these with a crazy Needles kimono and kept it muted with an unassuming Palace x adidas top peeking underneath – a look that I call 'Drippy Red.'

Most days you can catch me stomping around in a chunky pair of boots, but the adidas Ultraboost 19 is one of those sneakers that you just can't keep in the box. I'm a sucker for plaid so I love how these cozy kicks can be paired with more elevated pieces in my wardrobe like this vintage blazer that I found at a thrift store in Philly last summer. (All sex and gender politics aside, I do feel pretty in pink!)

I’ve been a fan of Ultraboost since the groundbreaking shoe first hit the market in 2015. From the gym to the streets, the sneaker has become a mainstay in my rotation. The Ultraboost 19 continues to build on that legacy, and I’m excited to rock it with multiple outfits.

Function and texture lead my style, so I paired the running-driven Ultraboost 19 with this Undercover shirt and Engineered Garments vest to keep cozy but ready for action with enough pockets to rival Batman's utility belt. The silhouette also has really smooth lines, so I went with the wide-leg pants to complement the shape and overall comfort.
