What We’re Saying: adidas Originals has tapped Saudi Arabian designer Arwa Al Banawi as the latest collaborator on the reinvigorated Forum Low. Al Banawi, who is a former investment banker and champions female empowerment through her brand, takes inspiration from her spirit animal, the Ibex (mountain goat).

Al Banawi’s Forum Low features a canvas base with suede overlays. The Three Stripes branding is constructed of matching leather and features hand-stitched embroidery. Additionally, the sneaker features a woven red and white heel cap which is inspired by the checkered pattern of traditional Arabic fabrics. Branded lace jewls, a special insole, and gold foil co-branded details round out the look.

On her Forum Low, Al Banawi brings to shine her penchant for mixing East with West and traditional tailoring with contemporary design details.

The Arwa Al Banawi x adidas Originals Forum Lo drops on adidas CONFIRMED on May 25, with a wider release scheduled for May 28.
