The first reactions to Captain Marvel are in and they appear to be overwhelmingly positive. The Brie Larson-starring Marvel epic introduces the character to the movie canon and, according to critics, the movie is a "welcome addition to the MCU."

The story tells the story of former US Air Force pilot Carol Danvers, who finds herself in the middle of an intergalactic battle between two alien worlds. Watch the trailer below.
