Deon Hinton, perhaps better known by his Instagram handle @okdeon, is a New York-based photographer, cinematographer, poet, and model. Somehow, though, Hinton found time outside the ridiculous schedule that a skillset like his must ensue to collaborate with Dallas-based watch studio BREDA on its FW20 campaign.

BREDA recently removed all gendered language from its website, marketing campaigns, and brand as a whole, as part of its wider advocacy for individuality and self-expression. The Okdeon Edit continues this vision for self-love, with Deon giving a rare glimpse into his thoughts on personal style and reflection during the transformative times we're living in right now.

Designed to be worn by everyone, BREDA's watch portfolio scales the range of personal taste. From 1920s-aesthetic slim frames to its contrasting Play, a transparent timepiece made from recycled plastic, there's a wrist accessory for every kind of style. Check the list below to find yours.

Virgil

Taking on the now seldom-seen rectangular shape of early 20th-century watches, the Virgil is all-out retro. The silhouette also gets BREDA's newly-introduced lizard-embossing, too.

Beverly

Featuring a faux-croc strap, the Beverly is an ode to its namesake Beverly Pepper, a minimalist sculptor.

Play

This timepiece, crafted from recycled plastic, is built to withstand high heat and adventure. As well as being designed to last, the Play comes in a selection of bold colors to brighten up your everyday style.

Esther

Going for a similar look to that of the Visser silhouette, the Esther is all about elegance. Timeless design pairs up with a Japanese-made Miyota Quartz for a stunning wrist accessory.

Jane

This pearl-reminiscent accessory is subtle, soft, and understated, and is sleek enough to be layered up with bulkier wrist accessories in a modular style.

Visser

The Visser is inspired by minimalist sculptor Carel Nicolaas Visser, whose art focused on the relationship between shapes and space. This easily-styled, square watch will be as at home with a suit as it is with a tracksuit.
