A galaxy far, far away is coming to Disneyland in California and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida in 2019. Disney Parks and Lucasfilms have been teasing the upcoming Star Wars: Galaxy Edge theme park for over a year, but now we finally get a more in depth behind the scenes look at the two main attractions guests will experience.

First up, the new ride Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run lets fans finally sit inside and pilot the famous ship amongst the stars, the Millennium Falcon. What looks to be an interactive ride, guests will be able to play as a pilot, gunner, or flight engineer sitting inside the iconic cockpit of the ship as you blast your way through the empire. Scott Trowbridge, Creative Executive at Walt Disney Imagineering, says it will be "an intense, super fun experience on the fastest ship in the galaxy".

The video also revealed details of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, another attraction in which visitors will become a recruit of the resistance before coming face-to-face with Kylo Ren. Watch the trailer for both main attractions in the video above.

The Star Wars: Galaxy Edge theme park will opening in the summer of 2019 at Disneyland in Anaheim, California and Fall 2019 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida.
