eBay has been stepping up its intentions to become the marketplace for buying and selling sneakers. To be a successful resell platform for sneakers though, they need to be trusted. And this is where they have focused their powers. The eBay Authenticity Guarantee is a rigorous process that ensures the sneakers you purchase are legit. In partnership with Sneaker Con, eBay opened six authentication centers globally where experts check for signs of counterfeits on the product and packaging. Once confirmed as the real deal, they attach a digital NFC authenticity tag. And it seems to be working with the centers authenticating more than a million sneakers already (and rising).

Coinciding with this eBay launched its dedicated sneaker store, and gradually it has become a hotbed of the world's most sought-after sneakers. Scrolling through the site can be a little daunting due to the sheer volume of choice, but eBay has done well to make the experience as user-friendly as possible. But if you still can't quite nail down the ideal sneaker for your fall rotation, we gathered some of Highsnobiety's goat-status sneaker collectors to offer their top choices from the store.

New Balance M1906RA

Still raving about this pair. New Balance continues to drop amazing colorways of the 1960, but this white, silver, and gold pair carry the perfect 2000s runner aesthetic, which is ideal for the much-awaited summer.

Nike Air Max 90 Infrared 2020

If we talk about a sneaker that constantly stands the test of time, the 'Infrared' AM90 never fails. The colorway makes it easy for everyday wear. It may not be the most hyped or expensive sneaker on the resell market, but I'd say its one of my favorites for its consistency.

Nike Air Jordan 1 Mid Fearless Melody Ehsani

Melody Ehsani's first collab with Jordan has stood the test of time and is still one of the best (if not the best) Jordan collab so far. Unsurprisingly, it's also one of the hardest to find.

Jordan 4 Military Black

When it comes to Jordan Brand, it’s hard to beat the classics. Year after year, OG colorways are revisited across its flagship silhouettes (the Air Jordan 1, 2, 3, 4, and so on) via retro re-releases, and more often than not, contemporary takes fail to overshadow them. For me, the Air Jordan 4 takes the cake - it’s incredibly hard to beat a “Bred,” “White Cement,” or “Military Blue.” These colorways have impeccable palettes, with blocking that perfectly emphasizes the sneaker’s key details. Through collaborations, there have been a handful of attention-worthy looks, but even fewer have managed to match up to the classics - until the arrival of the “Military Black.”

Many might see such a take as blasphemous, but switching out the pops of blue on the “Military Blue” for touches of black creates a far more versatile finish that’s easily thrown into everyday rotation. Sure, it’s a minor adjustment, but this just goes to prove that original colorways don’t need to be dramatic to be effective.

New Balance x JJJJound 992 Green

Would I care as much about this sneaker if it was a general release and didn't have JJJJound written on it? Probably not... but you have to admit there is something beautiful about that green suede. The Canadian label always knows how to hit the spot with its sneaker collaborations.

Nike Air Jordan 5 Retro Grape

I started playing basketball many years ago and remember that I needed to decide if I wanted a Jordan pair for the training or performance. My mom asked me to decide if id like to receive the Jordan 5 Grape or the Jordan CP3.V. Since then the "Grape" is a grail of mine. It would be the only colorway i would get from the 5´s.
