Over the weekend, Tesla CEO Elon Musk was spotted taking his new Cybertruck out for a spin around Los Angeles. Although a prototype was briefly spotted out on the streets earlier this month, this latest public outing has given us the best look yet at this futuristic truck in action.

In a video shared by TMZ, Musk can be seen taking the Cybertruck to Malibu institution, Nobu, and handing over the Blade Runner-inspired whip to the valet. Catch some of the action (including the countless patrons trying to get a glimpse of the vehicle close-up) in the clip below.

Parking up at Japanese restaurants wasn't the only footage captured that night. Onlookers also spotted the Cybertruck cruising down the Interstate 405 near LAX airport. Watch below.

Tesla's futuristic truck was unveiled last month, in a rather awkward demonstration that saw the "bulletproof" Cybertruck windows smashed by a metal ball. Though there isn't an official release date at the moment, production for the Cybetruck is expected to finish between 2021 and 2022.
