Few players have made an impact on the Premier League like Erling Haaland did last season.

The Norwegian, who arrived at Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2022, notched 52 goals during his debut season, one that saw Pep Guardiola’s side win the Premier League, FA Cup, and a first ever Champions League.

That on top of being named both the PL and Manchester City’s Player of the Season, as well as making the World XI for 2022, and you could say it’s been a pretty 12 months for the 22-year-old.

Still, if his form on the pitch has been impressive, his form off it has made for good viewing too.

One quick glance at Haaland’s Instagram and it’s clear to see he’s a stylish guy. From Burberry two-pieces and silky PJs to those sought-after Tiffany & Co. x Nike Air Force 1s, Haaland is a footballer that cares about his image. Good for him.

His latest look, spotted at Dolce & Gabbana’s runway show in Italy on July 9 is arguably his most eye-catching ensemble to-date, and not just because he's 6ft 4” and built like a fridge.

Taking his seat at the Alta Moda show alongside his partner Isabel Johansen, Haaland, with his Thor-like hair and bee-stung lips, sported a powder blue double-breasted D&G blazer and matching trousers, white open-toe sandals, and thick-framed sunglasses to finish.

It's a look that's been compared to that of Alan Partridge (one for the heads), but one that's certainly piqued by interest.

Despite Dolce & Gabbana's legacy of deeply problematic behavior, Haaland was just one of many high-profile names to grace the label's opulent show in Puglia on July 9.

Dame Helen Mirren, Venus Williams, and Christian Bale were other famous faces also in attendance, as was Kim Kardashian, who controversially collaborated with D&G for a frankly unneeded SS23 collection midway through last year.

For Haaland though, it’s been an off-season of pure vibes and relaxation having spent more than five weeks soaking it up in Southern Spain. Now with the 2023/24 season just around the corner, it’s time he slips out of the powder blue suit and into City blue, as he and his side attempt to defend their crown.
