Season: Spring 2018
Key Pieces: tees, hoodies, hats and jackets
Editor’s Notes: Skateboarding and art-inspired label FACT. debuts its Spring 2018 collection, as co-founder and creative director Damon Way showcases his dedication to bold graphic themes associated with 1980’s underground music, art and skateboarding.
Highlighting the bold new graphic designs include “Isolation,” a classic by English rock band Joy Division referenced with a lone rose image shot by photographer Ryan Allan, “Damaged” in a gothic font that references a 1981 Black Flag album of the same name, and “Danger Skull,” a skull image taken from a World War I land mine danger sign that’s paired with the phrase “New Order No Order Disorder.”
In addition, the line is rounded out with classic punk zine black-and-white photocopy graphics, logo-driven staples and iconic designs like “Made To Destroy” and “Enjoy Corporate Skateboarding.”
