FKA twigs has released "sad day," the fourth offering from her upcoming album MAGDALENE. As the title suggests, it's a heartbreaking track that sees her mulling over a past relationship. Airy synths clash with industrial crashes for a truly haunting effect.

"sad day" follows previous releases of "cellophane," "holy terrain," and "home with you." FKA twigs previously revealed that a "sad day" video will be directed by Hiro Murai, his first since Childish Gambino's "This Is America," and will feature wushu, a Chinese martial art that involves swords.

Listen to "sad day" above, and look for MAGDALENE to drop this Friday, November 8.
