Editor’s Notes: Following the Consortium 4D releases by Sneakersnstuff and Invincible, London’s Footpatrol becomes the third retailer to put its own spin on the futuristic silhouette.

Each of the partners was given ‘Prism’ as the design inspiration and color motif. Footpatrol chose to draw inspiration from the theory of color harmony and used the color wheel as a guide to select various shades of greens that would blend harmoniously in a knit construction.

The result is a military-esque take on the CONSORTIUM4D that complements both of its predecessors — Sneakersnstuff’s blue version as well as Invincible’s grey one — very well.

Footpatrol’s CONSORTIUM4D sneakers will be part of London Design Festival and will be brought to life via a specially-created installation by artist Ben Cullen Williams.

The exhibition is at 15 Bateman Street in London’s Soho and is open to the public on Friday, September 21 from 10 am to 8 pm and Saturday, September 22 from 10 am to 5 pm.

The sneaker release itself goes down on September 21 at Footpatrol.com and the Paris Footpatrol store.
