Editor’s Notes: FRONTEER, the brainchild of footwear designer Jon Tang, recently unveiled its Ranger Lo sneaker in two suede colorways: Autumn Yellow and Eclipse. Only 400 pairs of the sneaker were produced and retail is set at a relatively affordable $120.

Taking inspiration from heavy duty footwear such as combat and monkey boots, the Ranger Lo is a loose attempt at creating a sneaker that could feasibly be worn by park rangers.

Currently, the Ranger Lo is available at Dover Street Market New York, with future drops at FRONTEER and DSM London and LA planned.
