Highsnobiety’s Fitmas Calendar is a recap of 2019’s best celebrity style. Throughout the month of December, we’ll be looking back at one fit each day, diving deeper into why it worked and how you can achieve the look.

Who: Hector Bellerin

The outfit he’s wearing: a JW Anderson quarter zip under a PUMA track top, paired with Loewe asymmetric pants and Acne Studios sneakers.

Where and when: January 17 at the O2 Arena in London, during the NBA London event

Editor’s Notes: Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin has been on Highsnobiety’s radar ever since we compiled some of his best off-pitch fits in early 2018. This year, the world's most stylish footballer proved that he’s no fashion flash-in-the-pan, having regularly turned heads with his tasteful execution of high-end gear.

At the NBA London event back in January, the Spaniard gave us a masterful demonstration of how to go high and low, pairing a navy JW Anderson crewneck, Loewe pants, and white Acne Studios sneakers with a very casual (and affordable) PUMA track top. Bellerin blended the colors on his track jacket and pants beautifully, proving there's a lot more to his style than expensive designer labels.

The overlap between sportswear and luxury has become something of a cliche in our world, but here, Bellerin manages to put a fresh spin on a — by-now — commonplace concept.
