Heron Preston took to Instagram last night to share a preview of his first ever sneaker. The designer wrote in his caption that he didn’t have a name for the shoe yet and confirmed that the sneaker isn't a collaboration.

The sneaker, which you can check out above, features a hiking-inspired Vibram midsole with a tread that looks ready for the outdoors. A black neoprene bootie adds comfort and a tighter fit, while the upper is constructed of suede, leather, and mesh, with reflective detailing on the heel. White laces contrast with a predominantly blue and black design.

Preston has also opted for Cyrillic embroidery on the heel, a design feature that has been a constant throughout his other work. The heel pull tabs are embossed with “PULL,” a detail also seen on the designer’s fanny pack.

No release details have been shared as yet, but expect the sneaker to come out as part of Preston’s in-house line sometime in the future.
