adidas’ Trusty Hiking Sneaker Is Even Cooler as a Plush Slipper
adidas has transformed arguably its best hiking sneaker into a chunky mule. And admittedly, it's even cooler as a slipper.
The adidas Terrex Free Hiker LT Mule borrows from the thick-soled trail sneaker that's been around since 2019. It features the same beefy Continental rubber soles and outdoorsy aesthetic, except the slip-on is even more plush. Most notably, it has padded uppers with cool roping.
To be quite honest, it reminds me a lot of HOKA's Ora Primo mules. But make it adidas, of course.
The Free Hiker slip-on joins other solid outdoor-ready mules from the Three Stripes brand, including the puff-tastic Winter Slip-On COLD.RDY shoes and the Seeulater slide-ons.
Not much information is out yet about adidas' newest hiking mule. But one thing's for sure, it definitely looks good. It's set to debut in several nice colorways, including this classic all-black option.
Even the release date remains unknown. However, with official pics making the rounds online, it's safe to assume they'll land on adidas' website soon.
