The winners of the 12th annual iPhone Photography Awards (IPPAWARDS) have officially been announced. Thousands of entries were submitted for 2019, shot by iPhone photographers from more than 140 countries across the globe.

Gabriella Cigliano of Italy takes home the Grand Prize Winner and Photographer of the Year Award for Big Sister (slide 1). Diogo Lage of Portugal and his image Sea Stripes (slide 2) wins the first place Photographer of the Year Award, while Yuliya Ibraeva of Russia and Sorry, no movie today (slide 3) comes in second, and Pend Hao of China with Come Across (slide 4) third.

The 2019 iPhone Photography Awards consists of 18 categories as the first, second, and third place winners represent numerous countries from all over the world including Australia, Bahrain, Belarus, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Peru, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
