Artist: Jay Electronica

Title: A Written Testimony

Drop Date: On February 7, Electronica took to Twitter to announce that the album would be dropping in 40 days. That means the project could be dropping March 18.

Tracklist: The official tracklist hasn't been announced yet, but fans can expect involvement from JAY-Z, who was spotted in the studio with Electronica.

Editor's notes: Although Electronica has been signed to JAY-Z's Roc Nation label for ten years, his debut album never saw a release. That's about to change, though, as the Louisiana rapper-producer is expected to drop his first project as early as next week.

To tease the upcoming release, TIDAL has announced a series of listening parties for A Written Testimony. The listening parties will take place on March 12 in New Orleans — Electronica's hometown — New York City, and Los Angeles. Fans can attend by RSVP'ing here.

Early last month, Electronica revealed that his album was done, took 40 days to record, and would be dropping in 40 days (March 18). He also shared the album title, as well as what could be a lyric from his track with JAY-Z. "My debut album featuring Hov, man this is highway robbery."

Young Guru, JAY-Z's DJ, took to Instagram yesterday to tease the JAY-Z feature. Sharing a picture of himself, Electronica, and JAY in the studio, he wrote: "If I don’t have a haircut..... you already know!!" See for yourself below.
