If you asked the Jordan Brand for its best wine, it may very well bring out its upcoming Air Jordan 3 "Bin23."

The phrase "fine as wine" gets thrown around often when describing rich red or burgundy shoes. However, this latest Jordan 3 is indeed a fine wine. For sneakerheads.

Sticking to the "Bin23" tradition, the Jordan model receives a complete luxury overhaul. Its uppers feature both creamy leather and super-velvety suede, rendered in this opulent red. At the same time, the sneaker also gets gilded eyelets and a "Bin23" wax seal stamp on the tongue.

It's all washed down with a vintage-style Air sole unit, as if to say this wine-flavored sneaker has aged to perfection.

The Jordan Brand restarted the Bin23 line earlier this year with the release of an elegant all-leather Air Jordan 6 model, which retailed for $355 (expect the AJ3s to be priced similarly).

The first-ever batch of Bin23 sneakers came about in the 2010s. With this collection, Jordan aimed to make luxurious versions of the first 23 Jordan signature shoes. However, only a few models saw the light of day before the "Bin23" flame quietly fizzled out altogether.

Jordan's now picking up where it left off, filling in the blanks with all the models it missed before. In addition to the Jordan 3, the Air Jordan 4 and Jordan 8 models are also rumored to get fancy "Bin23" makeovers. They'll fit right in amongst the Swarovski Jordans and Italian leather Nikes.

Right now, it's all eyes on the "Bin23" Jordan 3, though. They're expected to drop on Nike's website on June 13, but only 2,300 pairs will be available. And like the Jordan 6s, they'll come with shoe trees and special packaging, creating a true Jumpman VIP experience.
