The Air Jordan MVP 92 knows its Nike history.

After all, it's basically a low-top remake of the Jordan 7. But don't call it a Jordan 7 Low (we already have those). The Jordan MVP 92 honestly belongs in the RM category, presenting a reimagined low-profile look with skate-level styling.

It's no wonder sneaker leakers were calling it the Jordan 7 RM before it dropped.

One thing about Jordan sneakers: history always repeats itself, with newer models often dressing in some of the brand's most classic outfits.

Take these newest Jordan MVP 92s, for instance. They're wearing the iconic "Infrared" look famously worn by the Air Jordan 6.

Funny enough, the "Infrared" 6s actually released in 1991, a year before the Jordan 7 came out. Now, they're back on Jordan's newest, most valuable sneaker.

The "Black/Infrared 23" MVP 92 sneaker is expected to release on Nike's website in the early part of the year, likely at its usual $145 price.

Expect the timeless color arrangement, with smoothed-out black uppers and bright reddish-pink splashes, all packaged into the "shrunken Jordan 7" model.
