Justin Bieber celebrated his 26th birthday this past weekend with wife Hailey and close friends. After a decade in the music industry, Biebs and Hailey  had good reason to let nostalgia get the best of them.

The two kicked off the celebrations at Italian restaurant Pecorino in Los Angeles before heading to Delilah nightclub, according to E-News. There, the Biebers were joined by a group of 40 to 50 friends, which reportedly comprised members of Justin’s church, Drew House employees and Justin’s personal trainers. DJ Tay Adams was in charge of the music.

At one point Bieber commandeered the mic and serenaded his wife with his new song “Intentions” as they danced together. The moment was captured in an Instagram post which he captioned, “Your [sic] my birthday gift bubba.”

The day prior, Hailey Bieber had reminisced about how she and the Canadian pop star had met. Recalling her previous appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon she revealed, “The next morning after the interview had aired, I got a certain phone call from a certain someone and it was a little like, 'Hey, how are you? I saw you on Jimmy Fallon last night. You were looking really good. I loved that trick that you did. I had no idea that you can do that. It was so cool.' Cut to, I'm now married to that certain someone.” Watch her explain the full story below.

Hailey wasn't the only one getting nostalgic. Justin posted a throwback to a Never Say Never Era interview, which saw the fresh-faced teen star mocking Chris Parente during an interview. See how far he's come in the clip below.
