Kanye West held a special late night edition of Sunday Service last night. During the gospel performance, West paid tribute to NBA legend Kobe Bryant, who died in a helicopter crash on Sunday morning, January 26.

“I was driving home. They was leaving your jersey on the freeway, and I just broke down, broke down, broke down,” West sang as he mourned the loss of Bryant during yesterday's Sunday Service.

Chance the Rapper was also in attendance at the event as he performed his verse from “Ultralight Beam.” Additionally, famed gospel musician Kirk Franklin was among those at the service as well, extending words of comfort surrounding the tragedy.

Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California yesterday, January 26. His 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, was also killed during the incident, which claimed nine lives.
