KAWS and The North Face initially joined forces in January 2022 and the unexpected drop sold out in the blink of an eye. The fusion of KAWS’ cartoonish aesthetic and TNF’s technical-looking garments was showcased in fan-favorite pieces like the Nuptse Jacket, Freeride Fleece, and accessories such as beanies, bags, and balaclavas. While both brands went all-out with extravagant multi-colored pieces in their first partnership, this time, they toned it down with muted shades.
KAWS x The North Face chapter two arrived the following winter. The collection worked with the same camouflage pattern seen in the first collaboration, and its main purpose relied on crafting expedition-ready functional garments for all minus-zero places.
The collaborative Himalayan down jacket maintains its original high-tech composition. Its outer material is made of polyester to repel water, and its inner goose and feather filling holds your body temperature during the most testing weather. The drawstring at the waist and high chunky neck are key elements to battle outdoor activities in the cold. The piece dropped in two colorways: grey/black and white/beige to match any wintery ‘fit.
