Double Tap to Zoom

Kiko Kostadinov's Crocs collaboration, his debut partnership with the footwear company, is up there with his best. In fact, the Kiko Kostadinov Crocs, debuted at Paris Fashion Week and revealed here by Highsnobiety, may even be one of the best Crocs shoes to date.

Kostadinov makes genius, clever, and sometimes downright inaccessible clothes, brilliantly skewed in such a way that more conventional consumers are likely to bounce right off. That's not a diss — it's a sign of a singular voice from a designer who knows that if he builds it, they will come (they being the folks who get it). Plus, for everyone else, Kostadinov turns out an abundance of excellent and approachable collaborations. His Crocs perfectly distill that approach.

More akin to his underrated Camper collaborations in terms of shape and material, as opposed to his world-shaping ASICS partnership — Kostadinov is arguably even more responsible for the normalization of the ASICS dad shoe than any other designer — Kiko Kostadinov's Crocs are only mildly recognizable as such.

Rather than riffing on Crocs' famous clogs, Kostadinov's Crocs shoe feels more like a maturation of the Gallery Shoe that debuted in 2025.

Meaty but streamlined, Crocs' Gallery Shoe looked more like a Clarks Wallabee wearing a foot brace, or perhaps a futuristic boat shoe.

Kostadinov's Crocs play on that form but look more like a '90s hiking shoe thanks to the grained leather, mesh, and a mixed-material sole unit. This shoe is a looker by anyone's margin, even if feels like an outlier for both Kostadinov and Crocs. But in a good way.

In Kostadinov's show notes, the Crocs collab is described as "featuring architectural lines and a utilitarian directness." Indeed!

The Crocs collaboration was accompanied by a variety of typically excellent footwear at Kostadinov's Fall/Winter 2026 runway show, including high-backed fur-lined slip-ons and a very GAT-looking sneaker. All very nice but, frankly, it's all about the Crocs.
