Fans of Kobe Bryant can now stock up on rare memorabilia thanks to Goldin Auctions. The sports collectibles specialist is currently hosting an auction featuring game-worn sneakers and jerseys, a championship ring, and other items worn and/or signed by Bryant.

Ken Goldin of Goldin Auctions believes the auction accounts for the largest collection of Kobe Bryant memorabilia ever in one place. The sale was organized to coincide with the announcement of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame 2020 class, of which Bryant is a part of. As most know, the basketball icon was killed in a helicopter crash in January of this year.

"We'd been collecting items really as early as December for the auction, and the auction was timed to take place right after this year's Hall of Fame announcement was made," Goldin said. "And we took consignments and unfortunately he had his passing. But it would be unfair for us, to our consigners, who we've literally held their items for four months trying to monetize it, not to go forward with the auction."

The online auction consists of 86 items from collectors all across the world. Goldin expects sales as low as $500 to "potentially over $100,000." At the time of writing, the highest bid is $28,000 for a pair of signed, game-worn adidas sneakers from game five of the 2001 NBA Finals against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Another standout from the sale is a championship ring that originally belonged to Kobe's mother, Pam Bryant. He gave the ring to his mom after the Lakers won the title against the Indiana Pacers in 2000.

The auction will benefit the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation, which was created by Kobe's wife, Vanessa, after her husband and daughter, Gianna, were killed in the aforementioned accident along with seven others.

Visit Goldin Auctions now to bid on the rare Kobe Bryant memorabilia. The sale ends May 16.
