After releasing a 1,580-piece Porsche 911 RSR replica last year, LEGO has now gone one step further. The iconic Danish company recently unveiled a new 1,458-piece, two-in-one set that lets you build Porsche’s classic, fixed-roof Turbo coupe 911 or the iconic convertible Targa.

Classic car fans and Porsche enthusiasts will be impressed by the wild detailing of the Porsche 911 (10295) model kit; from the sculpted bonnet and angled headlamps to the sleek silhouette, it's a treat to assemble. Both of the vehicles' interiors are finished in dark orange and nougat – based on the upholstery found in modern-day 911s.

The Turbo coupe features a fixed roof while the convertible Targa has a removable roof. Both versions accurately recreate the 2+2 cabin with tilting front seats and functional steering, plus a gear stick and a handbrake.

The sporty Turbo features a trademark wide rear axle, integrated rear spoiler, turbocharger, and intercooler while the Targa's removable roof can be stowed underneath the hood, along with a wraparound rear window.

Members of LEGO’s VIP loyalty program will also receive a limited-edition owner’s pack, which contains art prints of four classic Porsche adverts, plus a certificate of ownership and a card wallet.

The 2-in-1 Lego Porsche 911 set will be available for VIP access from February 15 and will launch online and in physical stores from March 1 for $150.
