Attention young designers, the applications for the LVMH Prize 2019 are now open.

The competition is open to all designers under 40 who have produced at least two womenswear, menswear, or unisex collections. The winner, selected by a panel of industry experts (to be revealed soon), will receive €300,000 and a 12-month mentorship provided by LVMH.

This year will also see LVMH honor three fashion school graduates with the opportunity to work at one of the group's fashion houses on top of a €10,000 grant.

The LVMH Prize winner in 2018 was Japanese label Doublet, with last year's Special Prize of €150,000 and a 12-month mentorship going to South Korean designer Rohk. Former LVMH Prize winners include Grace Wales Bonner in 2016, while Hood by Air, JacquemusVejas Kruszewski, and Kozaburo Akasaka took the Special Prize from 2014 to 2017 respectively.

Applications can be submitted here. The deadline for submission is February 4, 2019.
