Global fashion search platform Lyst has revealed its quarterly ranking of the world’s hottest fashion brands in Q2 of 2019. Topping off the “Hottest Brand” list for the fifth time in two years is Gucci. The Italian label replaces Off-White™, which ranks in second place, followed by Balenciaga, Valentino, and Prada.

Lyst analyzed the online shopping behavior of more than five million shoppers, Google search data, and brand social media engagement worldwide over a three month period. Its findings show that following a 20 percent revenue growth, Gucci has taken back the number one spot which it lost to Off-White™ in Q1.

Nike comes in at number nine, meaning it's the only non-luxury label in the top 10. The other sports brand to make the top 20 was 16th placed adidas, whose shares rose by 49 percent after the announcement it was teaming up with Beyonce to relaunch Ivy Park.

Interestingly, Prada returns to the top five. According to Lyst, Prada's annual revenue rose for the first time in four years, which is partly owed to key items like the banana and flame print shirt. Famously worn by the likes of Pusha-T, the much-hyped piece was the top-ranking apparel item, coming in at number three in the hottest products list behind the YEEZY Boost 350 V2 "Static Black Reflective" and adidas Originals Beckenbauer sneakers, which placed first and second, respectively
