Infamous ‘Pharma Bro’ hedge-fund manager Martin Shkreli, who has been convicted of securities fraud as well as raising the price of an AIDS drug, has now been ordered to forfeit $7.36 million in assets by a judge, including the Wu-Tang Clan album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, which he bought for $2 million through a private broker in 2015, and reportedly sold on eBay for over $1 million last summer, and might not even be legit, according to CNBC.
In addition, other assets that Shkreli will most likely have to give up include Lil Wayne’s yet to be released album Tha Carter V, a painting by Pablo Picasso, and his $5 million bond.
Shkreli is currently in jail from charges in which he defrauded investors in Retrophin, the pharmaceutical company he co-founded, and was ousted as CEO of the company in 2014. He is currently awaiting sentencing on March 9 and facing up to more than 10 years in federal prison.
